Stoney Mill Landscaping was founded by Mike Edwards. Mike has always loved the outdoors. As a boy, he looked forward to the summer camping trips with his family. When he grew older he went on hiking and backpacking trips with his friends. The smell of the fresh air, the sound of birds chirping, the babbling brooks and roaring rivers, the wildlife sightings and the grand vistas are all wonderful memories from these trips. Mike knew he wanted to pursue a career working outdoors. An office job was simply not an option.

Mike has worked in the landscaping industry for over 26 years and has experience working in all facets of the industry. The most important thing he has learned over the years is that when planning a project, the "big picture" must be taken into account. Everything is connected. For example, the landscape must fit the architectural style of the home, the plants must meet the requirements of the site, and the issue of proper water drainage needs to be considered. Not only do we want the project to look aesthetically pleasing when we're finished, but we want to, as best we can, ensure that we haven't adversely affected anything else on or off your property including the environment.
